According to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development news website, quoting from the public relations of the General Directorate of Roads and Urban Development in the South of Kerman Province, Mohammad Sardoi, the Director General of Roads and Urban Development in the South of Kerman Province, said: According to the road organization’s proposal for asphalt coating with the new methods of the General Directorate of Asphalt Coating SMA has put 30 thousand million rials on the agenda of the 15 km long Jiroft-De Bekri axis.
One of the advantages of SMA coating compared to normal coating is to increase pavement life, reduce noise pollution, improve slip resistance of the asphalt surface, and increase the resistance against rutting of the surface.
