Implementation of modified asphalt on Hezarcham to Chalus road by using AkaBit AD modified bitumen

Chalus road, which the older people called HezarCham due to its difficult and dangerous passes, is one of the most important attractions of Alborz. The Hazar Cham pass is located after Zah Bisheh and has a very steep upward slope. Vegetation in this area is very limited and the road is often frozen in winter. Chalus road is one of the most famous and of course the most dangerous roads in Iran, a road that is a combination of sharp and dangerous turns. These turns, which can sometimes be said to reach 360 degrees, can be a serious challenge for any driver, and since it is located in the north of the country, it is often exposed to humidity and rain. As a result, the use of AkaBit AD in the implementation of the polymer asphalt of the road from Hazaracham to Chalus has been necessary. The use of this additive increases the moisture durability of asphalt and prevents crackng.
